Peter Elliott was appointed by President George W. Bush to be the US Marshal for the Northern District of Ohio. In March 2003 Elliott took the oath of his office before Greg White a now retired Magistrate Judge who served in the same (40 county) Northern Ohio District which Marshal Elliott  oversees. White currently oversees compliance by Cleveland's law enforcement community with the terms of a federal consent decree. No doubt, at the upcoming luncheon ,Elliot and White will be asked about their official duties and how each will relate to the other during and after the GOP convention in July.
