The Columbus Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, in conjunction with the Southern District Court of Ohio, invites you to a half-day seminar that will focus on women in the courtroom. The event will feature:

  • a presentation about findings from a survey of women as lead counsel and trial counsel in litigation;
  • a panel discussion providing a view of in-house counsel’s role in choosing their trial attorney; and
  • a discussion with experienced trial lawyers about how they obtain real world trial experience.
Special guests and panelists include Chief Judge Edmund Sargus of the Southern District of Ohio, Judge Susan Dlott of the Southern District of Ohio, former Belmont County Court of Common Pleas Judge Jennifer L. Sargus and Chief Magistrate Judge Elizabeth A. Preston Deavers of the Southern District Court of Ohio.
